Wagner Memorial Pool

Twisp is sad to announce that the Wagner Memorial Pool will not be able to operate in 2024 due to discovery of extensive deterioration of the pool liner and other needed facility repairs that are beyond the Town's ability to rectify in time for the 2024 swim season.  During the summer of 2024 Twisp Public Works plans to work with Friends of the Pool to determine whither adequate repairs can be made to operate the facility in 2025, however at this time it is unclear whether the Wagner Memorial Pool can be adequately repaired for any future operations.   Please stay tuned for future updates on the status of the Wagner Memorial Pool as we work to devise a suitable path forward for this beloved facility.

The Pool was originally built in 1966 after a tragic accident took the life of a young boy.  Ernst and Kathrine Wagner had a vision with the hope that everyone would learn to swim in a safer environment and therefore, funded the construction of the Ernst O. Wagner Memorial Pool. Our pool has been able to operate for generations due to a fund the Wagners' set up and through various donors like FRIENDS OF THE POOL.

The FRIEND OF THE POOL are a huge part in what has kept our pool afloat.  Without their unwavering support and dedication, the pool would not have been able to operate.  You can play a key part in keeping a pool viable in Twisp by sending a donation to the Friends of the pool, PO Box 438, Twisp WA 98856 or online at their website.
