Eligibility: This RFQ is open to all artists, regardless of geography or experience, though artists with a past or present connection to Twisp and / or the indigenous peoples of the NCW are strongly encouraged to apply.

Project Scope: artists or artist groups will be invited to submit their qualifications and work samples; painting budget will range from $10,000-$15,000 plus lodging will be provided for artist/s if needed. Mural is sited on the side of the Merc Playhouse in the downtown district. The size of the wall is approximately 20 ft. x 90 ft. (project could use some or all of the available space), it is a brick surface, and wall will be primed. This mural should be rooted in all things Twisp and is the gateway mural to the creative district.

Anticipated Timeline: RFQ posted June 4, 2024, Interviews conducted August 1 & 2 2024, award announcement August 9, 2024, installation late September Early October 2024.

Work Samples: Please include links (Instagram, website, google drive, press links, etc.) to 3 to 5 favorite work samples that visually demonstrate your qualifications (these may include murals both completed and proposed) - feel free to include project name, date, location and any relevant narrative that may be useful to our understanding of the content. If any files are password protected please include the password, otherwise they will not be considered.
